The heart of the old Cantonment. MG Road, Brigade Road, Church Street, Residency Road, St Mark's Road and Lavelle Road are packed with shops, restaurants, bookshops and some of India's best-known pubs. The elevated metro runs along MG Road, and the Rangoli Metro Art Centre under it hosts exhibitions.
